With the implementation of the new geography curriculum reform,local geography curriculum resources have become an indispensable part of geography teaching.As far as it is concerned,the local geography curriculum resources have been widely used in the geography teaching of the secondary school education stage,but the practical training research for improving the students' geographical science ability is relatively few.In view of this,this paper,taking the Nansi Lake Basin as the research area,discusses the ways to effectively improve the geographical scientific ability of middle school students in the teaching of local geography.On the one hand,it provides some useful teaching resources and teaching cases for middle school geography teachers,and calls on the vast number of front-line geography teachers to pay attention to the rural areas.At the same time,the development and utilization of land resources also enhance students' geographical scientific ability and enhance their overall quality.This article mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction,which discusses the background and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,and the research methods.The second part is the definition of related concepts and the theoretical basis of improving the geographical science ability in the teaching of local geography.From the two aspects of the educational psychology theory and the teaching principles of the development of the local geography curriculum resources,the theoretical basis for improving the geographical scientific ability of the middle school students in the local geography teaching is demonstrated.The third part is the survey of local geography teaching and Junior Middle School students' geographical science ability.Through the questionnaire survey of the teachers and students of the experimental middle school in Weishan County and the twentieth middle school in Zaozhuang,the present situation of improving the students' geographicalscience ability in the teaching of local geography in the middle school and the problems in the teaching of local geography are summarized.The fourth part is the countermeasures and suggestions to improve Junior Middle School students' geographical scientific ability by using local geography teaching.This paper introduces the relationship between local geography curriculum resources and geography teaching in middle school,and discusses the design principles of improving students' geographical science ability in the teaching of local geography in middle schools.The fifth part is the teaching case designs to improve Junior Middle School students' geographical scientific ability by using local geography teaching.According to the content of the teaching materials,it puts forward the pertinence teaching case designs of four aspects: improving students' ability of collecting and processing geographic information by using local geography teaching,using local geography teaching to improve students' map use ability,using local geography teaching to improve students' spatial thinking ability,and applying local geography teaching to improve students' geography practice ability.The sixth part is the conclusion.
