With economical and science and technology swift development as well as spiritual civilization demand’s day-by-day prosperous, the society is getting higher and higher to the fine arts teacher’s request, but present’s continuing education training is raises the fine arts teacher quality an efficient path, this has provided a broad stage without doubt for the fine arts teacher. However in present, the northern Jiangsu was the Jiangsu economy owes the developed area, the continuing education still has many problems, only then analyzed these questions, sought solves these question method and the mentality, could fundamentally promote the northern Jiangsu ordinary Senior middle school fine arts teacher’s full scale development. Emphasis on continuing education which is currently the world’s developed countries to take joint measures of educational strategies.This study aims to explore the ordinary senior high school in Northern City, the continuing education of art teachers and make recommendations, divided into five parts, the first questions to clarify the research background, content, objects and methods; the second part to educational theory The theory and the continuing education of teachers at home and abroad; third part of the preparation; fourth part of the questionnaire and interviews, obtained an ordinary high school in Northern City, the status of art teachers continuing education; the fifth part of the recommendations and strategies, continuing education for art teachers status of issues for further analysis and recommendations for improvement in order to improve the continuing education of teachers in Northern art play a role in promoting the quality of training.Survey found that:most of the art teachers to adapt to the new curriculum calls for reform, and not much pressure on the work of general satisfaction, but not very concerned about the frontiers of art related to the dynamic and continuing education policies; continued existence of the organization departments related to education teachers do not understand teaching practice and not a lack of assessment of training evaluation, etc., causing a number of art teachers out problems, not satisfied with the conduct of continuing education, motivation for continuing education is not correct and the key learning gains is not clear and other related issues. Carried out in the form of continuing education would like to network and face to face, web-based, and can be responsible for the training institutions, organizing effective assessment, for example, the contents turned over to the collation of lectures, etc. to improve the effectiveness of continuing education.
