However, with thereformation of Chinese college students’ employment system in the1980s, it graduallychanges the traditional job assignments, implements "independent careers" and "two-waychoice" employment way, the graduates are pushed to the market, then the employmentproblem is highlighted. The After the impact of the2008world financial crisis, China’seconomy have encountered more difficulties and challenges, meanwhile, China is in theeconomic structure transformation, these makes China’s college students employment facegreater pressure,"the main contradiction is the coexistence of total employment pressure andstructural contradictions ".[2]The acute college students’ employment situation have already become the focus ofsocial attention. It is a kind of systematic project. To solve the difficulties, on the one hand, itneeds the party and the government to increase the macro-control continually, draw upeffective employment policy, on the other hand, it needs the university guide the students toanalyze the employment situation, to understand the national employment policy correctly, toestablish the correct career concept, etc. This requires that universities should fully realize theideological and political education of the strategic position and important significance.[3]sothe study of ideological and political education as the guidance of employment for universitystudents becomes vital necessary.This paper analyzes the position and function of ideological and political education incollege students’ employment guidance based on its relationship, points out the presentsituation, the existing problems and reasons of ideological and political education in thecollege students’ employment guidance, discusses and studies the policies deeply and putsforward some solutions. Therefore, this paper has certain theoretical significance and practical value.The main methods used in this paper are literature research, questionnaire and consultingmethod.The structure and main contents are: the introduction part puts forward the problem andresearch significance and literature review. The first part discusses the position and functionof ideological and political education in college students’ employment guidance, whichincludes the close relations of college students’ employment guidance and ideological andpolitical education; the position of ideological and political education in college students’employment guidance and its role. The second part analyzes the present situation, theexisting problems and reasons. The third part puts forward the strategies, which includesimproving the content of college students’ ideological and political education in employmentguidance; To strengthen the specific methods and means the university student ideologicaland political education in employment guidance.The basic point is that to solve the difficulties in employment is a systematic project,which requires the society, higher education institutions and studentsto cooperate with jointefforts, universities, as a link bridge of students and society, should attach great importance tothe huge responsibility they bear, attaches great importance to the position and function ofideological and political education in college students’ employment guidance, overcome allsorts of wrong idea and practices which are against the law, adopt effective measures toimprove countermeasures of college students’ ideological and political education inemployment guidance.
