More and more attention is attracted to the rehabilitation training course ofspecialeducation to help children of mental retardation to develop healthily andcompletely and to save grace and develop their potence. It’s basic trend ofinternational development to combine specialeducation with rehabilitation training. Atpresent, the research of rehabilitation training has begun for a very short time. For thesake of providing theory support and reality instruction to Peizhi schools. Theintervention of sandplay has effectively improved the social behavior disorder, afterthat, to structure group sandplay course. The actualizing of the research is in theforward position of applicable study, which is good for the theory and practice ofrehabilitation training course design and offers a new way to cure social behaviordisorder. Meanwhile, this research has quite realism meaning to the mental retardationof children.The experiment study adopts one-group pretest-posttest design, the participantswere asked to fill some scales including Rutter, Conner’s and Questionnaire of abilitydevelopment before and after the interventions, so as to discuss the influence of groupsandplay on social behavior disorder of the children of mental retardation.The results show: group sandplay is able to alleviate the social behavior disorder levelof the children of mental retardation, and improving their verbal ability, attention span,emotion regulation, human relation and hands-on ability.But for the limits of manpower, the financial resource and the physical resource,the study object, the tool of study and the research technique also has all sorts ofinsufficiencies, which made certain limits of the results’ stringency, the promotion andthe serviceability.
