With the continuous development of social productive forces and the gradualincreasein the degree of civilization, humans have more and more leisure time, peoplenot only increases the life of the material needs, but also attach importance to enrichthe life of spiritual needs, pay attention to improve the quality of life. Leisure andhuman’s all-round development and personality development are closely related, sothe combination of leisure and education has important significance. Leisureeducation aims to improve people’s leisure quality to improve people’s leisure lifequality target.On the junior high school students, they are in the key period of development,they are very malleable. If they are in this period can develop a reasonable, healthyleisure habits, not only for their physical and mental health development isadvantageous, and the future in the work and leisure life attitude have certain guidingrole. If in this period without subjecting them to the correct guiding and education,their leisure is likely to be a trap, bring certain harm to the society, so the advocatingand Implementing Students’ leisure education is to adapt to society, the individualneeds of the students. The junior middle school students’ leisure education presentsituation has carried on the theoretical and empirical analysis and discussion.The thesis consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction. It expounds the origin of the thesis, thesignificance of the study, literature review, as well as the research methods and ideas.The second part is an overview of leisure and leisure education. First the relatedconcepts of leisure and leisure education to make further summarized and defined;then from the perspective of historical development, elaborated the change ofleisure concept and the evolution of leisure education; Furthermore, the theoreticalbasis of this paper are described; for junior high school students leisure educationgoals, tasks, characteristics and value to make further discussion.The third part is the empirical analysis section. It shows the status of junior highschool students’ leisure education in a junior high school in Lanzhou City from leisuretime, leisure activities, leisure understanding and evaluation, the implementation ofthe leisure education in four levels, then finds out the problems and makes further attribution and analysis.The fourth part is the junior high school students’ leisure educationcountermeasures and suggestions section. It puts forward some feasible strategies andsuggestions on the basis of the empirical analysis, aiming at the students’ leisureeducation existing problems.The fifth part is the conclusion part.
