Physics is a science subject based on observation and experiment.Experimentteaching is an important part of physics teaching and it plays a key role in physicsteaching.The basic forms of experiment teaching in middle school physics includedemonstration experiment,small group experiment, and extra-class experiment.Among them, demonstration experiment is the dominant form.Successivedemonstration experiments can leave an irrevocable impression on the students andthey can activate the classroom atmosphere, which will result in good teaching effect.However, the current situation of demonstration experiment in middle school isworrisome in that lots of demonstration experiments is low efficient or inefficient. Inorder to promote the new curriculum reform and the effectiveness of demonstrationexperiment teaching, it essential to carry out the research into effective teaching ofdemonstration experiment.The main research questions of this study include the following,This study tries to explore the issue of how to carry out physics demonstrationexperiment teaching effectively from the perspective of effective teaching theory. Weapply effective teaching theory to analyze cases of demonstration experiment teachingin middle school physics classes. We apply the documentary method to comb thetheory of demonstration experiment so as to make it systematic and provide sometheoretical guidance to demonstration experiment teaching of middle school physicsclass.Our findings include the following,This study, based on the analysis of the current situation of demonstrationexperiment teaching in middle physics class and on the analysis of the cognitive andpsychological feature of middle school students,has given some method and strategyof carrying out effective demonstration experiment teaching in middle school class. We interpret these methods and strategies from the following aspects such as thechoice of experimental apparatus,experiment design,the effective demonstration ofthe experiment in class and so on. In addition, some excellent cases of demonstrationexperiment teaching are provided and analyzed. In the end, we offer somesuggestions on how to improve the effectiveness of demonstration experimentteaching.
