Study On Rural Families In The Higher Education Expenditure Capability

With the national college entrance number of applicants in2004, the number ofcandidates in rural areas of urban, rural families increasingly become the maindemand of higher education groups, which makes the children of rural families toreceive higher education, has become the focus of concern. In particular, is growinghigher education tuition and fees, accommodation and prices in recent years, peoplefrom all walks of life caused by the intense debate on higher education fees, homeaffordability, cost source of rural children in the family and other issues. This study isbased on the above background, the domestic and foreign scholars on the form of theability of theoretical and practical study of the rural households of higher educationexpenditure on the basis of343rural households in Xinjian County, as a sample, usingquestionnaires and interviews to collect related data and information, with theMINITAB software to conduct an empirical analysis. Finally, analysis of the results ofsome reference recommendations.This study first analyzes the background and significance of the research projectto determine the content of this study, research methods and the main innovation.On the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of the rural households involved inthe Higher Education Expenditures, which defines the boundary of the study, acomplete system, making this study feasible. Also laid a theoretical foundation for thelater analysisThird, this study uses the MINITAB software, related survey data collation andanalysis of some factors in the new county rural households spending power of highereducation, this part is the focus of the study, in accordance with the followingstructure:(1) The sample of respondents and survey methods are described, andsample survey of household income, the survey of higher education spending powerof analysis, to conclude;(2) the conclusions of the previous analysis of theinfluencing factors of higher education spending power of rural households, with afamily income level of the impact of the impact of expenditure on educationaccounted for the proportion of household spending, old-fashioned traditionalconcepts, the lack of impact of support systems, urban-rural development gap impact.Finally, according to survey results of the analysis from more than five impact factors point of view put forward policy recommendations.I hope this study has a positive reference for role on the enhancement of highereducation spending power of rural households in China.
