There will be underachievers as long as there are students in schools. They arecaused by external causes and internal causes. For external causes, it includes familyfactors, school factors and social factors. For internal causes, it means Students’ selffactors, including Intelligence factors and non intelligence factors.The aim of quality education is for all students. Therefore it needs effectivetransformation on underachievers. How to transform and teach underachievers is thecommon task which the social education is facing. However, it can neither be achievedin one day nor be going smoothly. It needs the close match of schools, society andfamilies. Even more, it requires students to master the correct methods of learning andhave positive factors such as good study habits and strong physical and mental will.The composition training in junior school requires students to write simplenarrative, expository, simple argumentative and common application, which are themost basic requirements for the students. But the demands on composition and theability of the students are continually increasing when the students go on higherlearning year after year. In the class there inevitably appeared some underachievers whoare studying negatively and lose their interest and confidence in composition. Therefore,the students’ writing level is far short of requirements. In this article，underachieversare trying to be made a change from writing a composition by fear to writing acomposition by love by exerting influence on them from the view of psychology andwriting skills. In total, the training of composition is divided into four steps: feeling,practicing, setting and modifying.Chinese teacher must aim at the underachievers’ problems in writing training sothat they can do further analysis and exploration and take effective measures to coachand improve them. We should care for the underachievers today and pay more attentionto their future. We should also use our body unique influence weapons to cherish them,care about them, respect them and appreciate them so that they can write a goodcomposition from the beginning and walk to the success of their life at last.
