Since China realized the historic goal of nine-year compulsoryeducation, compulsory education inequity has become one of the pressingprominent current social problems. This paper analyses and demonstratescompulsory education inequity from the perspective of Marxist theory ofsocial justice. The body part goes as follows:Firstly, it defines the concept ofsocial justice, compulsory education equity and so on, discusses theTheoretical Value and practical value of Marxist social justice theory,and expounds its importance in achieving compulsory education equity.Secondly, through the "unconscionability" phenomenon of Chinesecompulsory education between regions, between urban and rural areas,between schools and between classes, etc., it describes the internalcauses and external causes of the current unbalanced development ofcompulsory education. At last, it promotes reasonable ways to achieveChinese compulsory education equity. This study follows the idea that the Marxist theory of social justiceis quite important in guiding Chinese compulsory education equitydevelopment, follows the mentality of "to raise problems-to analyzeproblems-to solve problems", takes the gap between regional areas asan example, examine the compulsory educational resources imbalance,analyzes the causes and makes recommendations. Compulsory education equity is the Equity of Bottom Line, and areflection of social justice in the field of education. Only when weachieve compulsory education equity in all regions, can we maintain socialstability, and lay the foundation for establishing a socialist harmonioussociety. |
