This article discusses the equity of compulsory education theoretically and practically from the view of sociology. This article defines the connotation of the educational quity on the basis of the concept of equity anf educational equity,and believe that the equity of compulsory education means every school-age children has the equal rights and chances to take the compulsory education, owns the homogeneous process,and can receive the education compensation when they are vulnerable.The equity of compulsory education consists three parts, the equity of the starting point, the equity of the process and the equity of the result.This paper is divided into five parts.As part of the introduction,the first part mainly to introduce the background and significance of the research and the results at home and abroad reviewed.The second part of the article is the theory preparation,interpretating the theories and concepts related,include the defination of the equity,the the defination of the equity of education, the defination of the equity of compulsory education,and especially express the significance of the implement of the equity of compulsory education from the view of sociology. The third part of the article discusses the problems of the equity of compulsory education in our country nowadays from the three aspacts:the equity of the starting point, the equity of the process and the equity of the result.After the implement of free compulsory education in our country,the problem of the equity of the starting points has been solved,and he problem of the equity of the process becomes more and more outstanding,therefore,it is also the key issue to discuss in the atrticle.The fourth part of the article discusses the causes of the problem for the equity of compulsory education in our country from the aspects of economic conditions, national policy and the misunderstanding of the concept of compulsory education.The last chapter is devoted to present the practical measures to settle the problems of the equity of the compulsory education in our country,they are to strengthen the legislation for the equity of the compulsory education,to increase the input for the compulsory education and allocate it in reason,to set up the undifferentiated school system,to change the misunderstanding of the compulsory education, to reform in the compulsory education sestem, and to do the work of compulsory education compensation.
