The Cultivation And Research Of Personality Charisma Of The College Instructors Of The Course Of Political Thoughts And Theory

The construction of the teaching body of political thoughts and theory in theinstitutions of higher learning has become an important task that entails in-depthresearch in order to promote and ensure the socialist political work with Chinesecharacteristics. The degrees of charisma of the teachers of political thoughts andtheory have influenced to a certain extent the carrying out of the work of politicalthoughts and theory regarding college students. The team construction of theseinstructors in our country has achieved relatively satisfactory effects during the pastthree decades and more. And their overall charisma has been enhanced. However, withthe soaring development of the market economy and the continuing expansion of thescale of higher education and the resultant increasingly prevailing money worship andideological confusion among the instructors of the course of political thoughts andtheory, there arises such problems as value orientation biases, mental apathy, theincrease of mental barriers and the neglect of morality and personality moulding andso forth, all of which have seriously affected the instruction of political thoughts andtheory in colleges.Under this new condition, heightening the instructors of the course of politicalthoughts and theory charisma in the institutions of higher learning is a highly efficientapproach to the speedy the teaching body of political thoughts and theory promotionof team construction in the institutions of higher learning. From three perspectives,the paper in question has practically expounded the following three approaches to thecultivation of charisma of college teachers engaged in the instruction of politicalthoughts and theory. In terms of instructors themselves, they should strengthen theirawareness as teachers, acquire advanced educational concepts, and have a perfectmastery of political quality, professional quality, psychological quality and cultivatenoble professional ethics; in terms of social environment, the stress should be laid onthe formulation and supervision and practice of various policies by the government;and on the part of government, it should improve the current conditions of theinstructors and advocate the models of instruction with charisma; an d in terms ofcollegiate milieu, tight control should be imposed upon the selection, training,instruction, appraisal, teaching and research regarding these instructors,; moreover,competition mechanism should be initiated to fully guide these teachers to cultivatetheir personality charisma.
