| With the rapid pace of globalization, the international exchanges are deepening, the demands for the quality of citizens are gradually increasing in the world. The civic education was gradually accepted and recognized by most of countries, and is paid more attention by more countries.Since1978, with the deepening interaction between our country and abroad in economic, political and cultural fields, the importance of civic education is increasingly to be recognized by our government, the society and experts. It’s necessary for individuals and our society to strengthen civic educationIn this paper, by elaborating the concept of citizens, civic education and its characteristic, the writer compares the civic education with the university’s ideological and political education, and clarifies the relationship between them, then tries to make a reference from the experience of foreign countries and combines our reality, in order to explore the development direction and possible means of the civic education which is in line with China’s social requirements.The writer analysizes, studies and explores the integrating the civic education into university’s ideological and political education from the following aspects.At first, elaborate the concept of citizens, civic education and its characteristic, and make a brief review of the historical evolution of the civic education in China.Then, describe the status quo of civic education development in our country, and present problems in its implementation process, and analysize the reasons. In this part, the writer also compares the civic education with the university’s ideological and political education.On the basis of the comparison, the writer analyzes the feasibility and necessity of integrating civic education into university’s ideological and political education.In the last part, by making a reference from the content and experience of foreign civic education and combining our actual needs, the writer puts forward the value orientation of civic education to explore the means of integrating the civic education into university’s ideological and political education actively. |
