The female university students’ employment problem is not only related toimproving the qualities of women, but also related to the sustainable development ofChinese women. And what’s more, it’s a key problem of establishing theSatisfaction-Oriented government and harmonious society. Because of theconstruction of traditional social values、gender division of labor structure、employersconsiderations for economic reasons、professional settings obstacles、the quality offemale college students and other factors, the employment problem of female collegestudents has became a concerned topic. It mainly performances in the followingaspects: obstacles to entering the labor market、the gender segregation in career、unequal pay for equal work、 employers propose unreasonable requirements andrecessive discrimination. Therefore, preventing and resolving the discrimination offemale college students, has became an necessary means of strengthening governmentresponsibility、highlighting the guiding role of government and making sure of thesociety equity and justice.This article makes a deep and systematical research specifically on the genderdiscrimination of female college students, especially seizing the areas like enterpriseand the link like recruitment which easily produce gender discrimination inemployment, conducting qualitative analyzes on current gender discrimination inemployment which uses theories of economics, sociology, public policy and so on,besides, quantitatively analyzing by questionnaires that include undergraduates andgraduate students,coming from Hunan University, Sun Yat-sen University andXi’an Electronic and Science University. Firstly, this article confirms the existence ofgender discrimination in employment, and also dissects the diverse formationmechanism. On the bases of learning the successful experiences of the EuropeanUnion, America, Asia and other regions, the author proposes several specificcountermeasures of resolving the female discrimination in employment which includecompleting the system of policy formulation and implementation, revering socialgender conception, improving subject setting, enlarging channels of female collegestudents employment, increasing quality of female students and so on. Throughfurther investigating on the problem of solving female college student discriminationin employment, the target of this research is to make the fair value-oriented and service-oriented function of government fully played, finally integrating acountermeasures system of resolving female college students discrimination inemployment which with Chinese characteristics, to providing some suggestion onrealizing double objects of female college students employed smoothly and femaledevelopment healthily.
