In recent years, the listening and speaking teaching strategies are very crucial to the English teaching as a whole. The teacher is ought to make full use of proper strategies to create stories, situations and activities, thus to connect the language with pupils’real communication and make the teaching more rich and interesting. By participating in the real primary English teaching, using the comprehensive research, the author tries to get to know the application status of the strategies, so as to analyze the existing problems as well as the cause. Furthermore, the author will come up with a series of suggestions which are expected to help as references aiming at improving the efficiency of the listening and speaking teaching. On the other hand, with the assistance of multi-media instruments, the author hopes to change the old habits of forcing pupils reciting, understanding and memorizing the grammar, and thus to provide the pupils with chances to get in touch with natural language. Besides, on the basis of the postgraduate study, the author also come up with suggestive ways to deal with the present teaching materials, combing with her own inter experiences and the analysis of some professional teaching program in English listening and speaking. Therefore, the final purpose of combining the listening and teaching strategies with English teaching as a whole and could expect to reach.
