Because there are too many students, it is difficult for the traditionalclass teaching system to adapt to the development of every student.Whether it is from the development needs of the times, or from thestudents personal development needs, we need to change ourteaching method in the form of small class or individual teaching. In thetraditional mode of teaching, students can’t involve themselves in thelearning as main roles. Thus, their positive emotions can’t beexperienced and their volitional quality can’t be reflected. Students ofvarious levels are difficult to develop fully of the students because theirquality is different. Obviously, such a teaching mode will restrict thedevelopment of each student.This paper is focused on the small-class teaching conditions. It dealswith how to teach students in accordance with their aptitude in themaths teaching in high school. The purpose is to let every studentparticipate in the teaching activities actively so that each studentsknowledge, ability, attitude and emotion will be developedharmoniously.On the basis of full understanding of each students personality, thisarticle groups students into different classes according to their learningattitude, learning ability, learning basis, learning objective and otherfactors. Then this article does research in six aspects from stratification ofpreparing lessons, teaching, exercises arrangement, correctingexercises, instruction and after-school tutoring to stratification oflearning evaluation. It actively explores effective teaching method ofmaths in high school under the conditions of small class.
