Currently, the module in art appreciation is non-essential and exists inname only in most of the vocational schools. The immediate cause of that is the poorquality of education and the lax classroom management which leads to the students’elimination. The underlying reason of that is the lack of scientific evaluationmechanism of classroom teaching quality. Some of the teachers are also in a statusbecause of that. Hence, it’s quite necessary to introduce the qualitative evaluationsystem. The introduction of qualitative evaluation system could use its manner ofself-evaluation, peer evaluation and teacher evaluation to push the teachingmanagement and students’ experiences running through the whole process of theeducation. The qualitative evaluation system could also help to improve students’enthusiasm for art appreciation class. At the same time, it could also efficientlyreshape teacher’s teaching concept. The combination of teaching requirements andstudents need could help to improve the attractiveness of art appreciation tostudents. In the vocational schools, the qualitative evaluation system has beenconnected with performance appraisal of teachers with the promotion of merit pay.The qualitative evaluation system has also become a fairly important element ofstrengthening the process of evaluation towards art teacher.
