The research based on theoretical analysis of teaching individuality aims to rich the study on the field of teaching theory, and expand the problem domain of teaching theory research to make up for the insufficiency of existing research. Then, how to make teaching activities in innovation highlight teacher’s rich individuality? How to clear teacher’s individual existence as a human being? Face the loss of teacher’s life meaning, in the day of advocating" people-oriented", the study on teaching individuality is more practical. Therefore, through deeply analysis of current situation of teaching individuality, this study aims to excavate teacher’s pursuit for their own life meaning as a human being from its phenomenon behind, clear teacher’s main body status and main body value in the generative process of teaching individuality. The full text is divided into five parts.The first part introduces research origin, research significance, research methods, while the theory relevant to teaching individuality at home and abroad is preliminarily combed.The second part defines basic connotation of teaching individuality through the summary of teacher’s teaching individuality, analyze its character, factor and its own meaning.The third part gives interpretation to the defect of teacher’s teaching individuality through the analysis of real teaching predicament. The defect of teacher’s teaching individuality is mainly embodied in the digestion of teacher’s individual independence, the annihilation of teacher’s individual identity, the limit of teacher’s self management and the alienation of teacher’s spontaneity.The fourth part presents the main reasons for the defect of teaching individuality through deep analysis. Specifically, it lies in the following points:the repression of individuality from conservative traditional culture, the ignorance of individuality from group standard values, the hindrance of teacher’s grasping of individuality from identification changing, the lack of subjective consciousness of individuality prominence, the squeeze on the space of individuality generation from institutionalized teaching system, and as for institutionalized teaching system, it can be summed up in three points: single choice of textbook knowledge, the titular of teaching rights and high utility of teaching evaluation.The fifth part carries on the path exploration in view of the above reasons, it mainly opens from the following six aspects respectively:to build an atmosphere of individual culture, to dissolve teacher’s identity crisis, to create an individual teaching philosophy, to eliminate the blind trust of knowledge authority, to safeguard teacher’s teaching rights; to build an open, flexible evaluation mechanism.
