This paper researched the classroom learning behavior of excellent students and the ones with learning difficulties in junior high school by using qualitative research approach. Based on the case of Bo Cai Experimental Middle School Affiliated to Hunan Normal University, the researcher chose six students from junior grade one, grade two and grade three. The thesis, on the basis of the classroom observation and interview to the students and their teachers, combining relevant documents and materials theoretical researches, deeply and carefully analysed the current situation of the classroom learning behavior of the excellent students and the ones with learning difficulties. And it offered some improving suggestions on some questions that existed in their classroom learning behavior.The thesis was composed of six parts:Part Ⅰ:the author established the research question, and analyzed the purpose and meaning of this research. Some concepts related to the research were defined.Part Ⅱ:in this part, the author retrospected relevant researches on classroom learning behavior.Part Ⅲ:the course of the research was composed of five parts:the research approach; the object of study; the realibility and validity of the research; the course and method of collecting materials; the arrangement and analysis of the materials.Part Ⅳ:on the basis of the researcher’s observation and interview to the research object, combining the relevant document materials, the author described and explained the current situation and analyzes the characteristic of the classroom learning behavior of excellent students and the ones with learning difficulties by using the method of case study.Part V:combining research’s observation and interview to the research object and relevant theoretical researches, the author analyzed the factors that influenced students’classroom learning behavior from two aspects:the students’own factors and outside factor.Part VI:aming at the questions existing in classroom learning behavior of the excellent students and the ones with learning difficulties, the researchers put forward for improving suggestions to students themselves, teachers, schools and parents.
