Study The University Management System With Modern Characters

Education is becoming more and more important as the development of modern society, our higher education management, however, encounts lots of trouble, which arresting more attention from people and making them feel worried about it. In order to make our university more competitive and catch up with the first-class of the world we should take measures to reform our universities’management system. Our government has relized this and more attention has cast on higher education. The decision of reform the higher education has setup as the "12th Five-Year Plan" issued. This article mainly involved in the characters of modern university management, the difference on university management between home and abroad, the reasons cause our higher education management problem, and more importantly, how to build up a perfect an efficient higher education system by learning form the experience of different ages and different nations. All the work mentioned above done by literature method, inductive method, case analysis, and so on.It can be divided into five parts:Thus, the first part mainly introduced the researches about this theme on home and foreign countries, and the definition of related concepts and the meaning of do this research.The second part, states the function and characteristics of modern university management, and it also introduced the flattening theory and process reengineering theory.The third part, analysis and learn for the two typical universities, namely, southwest United University and California University.The fourth part, from the university internal management system and the outer management system angle, analysis modern university management character, put forward our modern university management system problems.The fifth part, it mainly focus on how to solve these problems, the author give some suggestions by applying relevant theory and summing up experience of home and abroad.
