Allocation of study time is an important component of cognitive control, directly affects the memory object selection and memorizing subjects, reflecting the ability to regulate and control subjects of their own cognitive resources. How do earners allocate study time? To answer this question, researchers have conducted a lot of research and put forward four important theoretical models, Discrepancy Reduction Model, Hierarchical Model of Self-regulation study, Region of Proximal Learning Model, Agenda-Based Regulation (ABR model). The four models researchers have proposed can explain how learners allocate study time under certain conditions. This study is to continue ABR model to further explore the learners time allocation in dual-target conditions, characteristics and possible influencing factors, thus enriching the ABR model of learners’ allocation of time to explain the range. The study is divided into two experiments. In both experiments, two targets are set easy goals and difficult goals. Experiment1investigated the impact of the order to complete two kinds of the target to the allocation of time; Experiment2investigated the impact of the task reward on study the allocation of time. In Experiment1,54subjects were random assigned into two groups, a group of subjects is ease of order group. They complete the difficult goal, and then complete the easy target. The other group is a difficult sequence group. They complete the easy target, and then complete a difficult target. In Experiment2, if the experimental group subjects could complete the difficult goal, there were score reward; if the experimental group subjects could complete the easy goal, there were cash reward; the control group has no reward. This present study investigates, in dual-target conditions, impacts of the target sequence on the allocation of study time. The conclusions of the present study were as follows:First, the easy-difficult group, who was told that easy material were tested first, will select item in difficult materials. In the second project selection, they will select the item in difficult materials.Second, the difficulty-easy group, was told that difficult material were tested first, it will only select items in the difficult material, regardless of the items in the easy material. In the second item selection, they will choose the easy material.Third, the experimental group were informed that the test on memorizing easy material have additional monetary awards, in the first selection, they will select a large number of easy material to learn, and significantly greater than the control group.Fourth, whether in the any conditions of the sequence of tasks, the time allocated on the difficult task is significantlly higher than on the easy task。Fifth, in the group which have a reward, in which the easy task is given a score reward and difficult task given monetary awards, the time will be allocated on the difficult task and easy task, have no significant differences.Sixth, for the difficult task, the easy to difficult group spend significantly more time than the difficulty group on the task; for the easy task easy, the easy to difficult group spend significantly less time than the difficulty group on the task.
