The traditional basic education is of high consumption, low efficiency and strategy. China started a dynamic new curriculum reform at beginning of the new century, in order to comply with the needs of the times and social development. However, due to the disregard of knowledge, many diligent people caught a chance and earned a huge material wealth in the last20years of the last century. These people are of low educational level, but they can understand the times. They’ve got courage and work ethic. Superficial people paid a lot of attention in the appearance that people of low educational level can still make money, but failed to see the excellences of the succeeded ones. Parents and students doubt the saying of knowledge changes our fate; the students lost their interest in learning. The actual process of the new curriculum reform is not in-depth due to the shackles of the examination, students nurtured by our classrooms are still of high scores but low abilities. A talent nurtured by our school should both be good at passing examinations and have the ability to comprehensive development, suitable for the needs of a new era. Therefore, our education should be efficient. Efficient education needs efficient classroom. Many experts home and abroad laid a good foundation to our research on efficient classroom. They made theoretical and strategical research on efficient education and efficient classroom. Efficient classroom requires teachers to be confident, optimistic, cheerful and open-minded, full of passion, filled with love to promote education, intelligent, ready to switch roles or have equal dialogue with students, constantly learning, constantly updated, fully integrated and inclusive. Efficient classroom requires earnest and well-planned preparations before class, clever import of knowledge, diverse activities, personalized experience and efficient examination. The teachers should remember to demonstrate the thinking process, summarize in time and look for shortcuts. Students should be given personalized and efficient examination which fit their situation. I made some exploration to the assessment of efficient classroom, but I still lack a quantifiable evaluation program.
