With the increased risk of economic restructuring in China and international markets, stimulating economic growth, national initiatives to expand domestic demand, developing the rural market, cultivating hot spots of consumption, the consumption environment, and do everything possible tostimulate consumption. Sports consumer research, the development of sportsindustry, stimulating economic growth is important. Sports consumption of households shows its significance to expand the household consumption demand, stimulate economic growth, and improve residents’ quality in the family life. Therefore, it will be with a positive role in promoting to the fields as sports widely spread, sports socialization and marketization, and improving national physical fitness, etc., if sports consumption is to be researched in the fields of theories and practices, and to propose countermeasures and suggestions corresponding with the actual situation of sports consumption of households.In this paper, the questionnaire is to be adopted to make a survey on sports consumptions for some of households in Emei Mountain tourism area, and find out the sports consumption structure of households and various factors which will effect household sports consumption in Emei Mountain,etc. And the conclusions are as following:First of all, the proportion accounting for the sports consumption among all the daily using is small for the households in Emei Mountain tourism area. The total percent is only9.58%adding education, culture and entertainment, and sports consumption together, ranked N0.5Second, household consumption structure is not balanced and unreasonable in Emei Mountain tourism area. At present, the structure of household sports consumption in Emei Mountain tourism area is that sports consumption in kind dominated the first place with58.50%, and participatory sports consumption spend most with33.82%, not including sports lottery, while the watch-type sports consumption is with the smallest proportion.Third, the items on exercise in Emei Mountain Tourism Area for their families are mainly in the field of fitness projects which spend less and easier to be practiced. The favorite sports followed by the top five are badminton, having a walk, aerobics, swimming, Qigong and Tai Chi.Fourth, the major factors effected household sports consumption in Emei Mountain tourism area are income, spare time, venues and facilities, and sports values, etc.Fifth, the main purposes on household sports consumption in Emei Mountain tourism area are physical fitness, leisure and entertainment.Sixth., the household holds the support attitude towards sports lottery consumption in Emei Mountain tourism area. Most of households are with the mentality of luck to buy the sports lottery which has deviated from the true motive issue for contributing to the sports and public welfare. Besides, it proposes some advice for the development of sports lottery in the future, according to the survey data. For example, drawing environment is more and more transparent, chest using is opened to the public in time, and to increase some places for sale if possible, and so on.
