With the development of network technology, the teachers in carrying out the process of teaching, if you encounter a traditional teaching can not achieve their teaching objectives, many university teachers to use IT tools to solve. Some colleges and universities such as the introduction of network teaching platform, some university teachers in their own teaching in the introduction of the teaching platform, some university teachers do not have the network teaching platform, but will also use QQ, blogs, microblogging software to compensate for deficiencies of the traditional teaching. Since entering the21st century, after about ten years of web-based teaching, how the quality of the university web-based teaching and teachers’attitudes about web-based teaching is positive or negative? All aspects of web-based teaching of university’s support for teachers, including psychological and school funding support policy on how and on what measures? What kinds of blockage teachers have come across in the process putting web-based teaching into practice, and how they overcome? This study is based on the investigation of various Nanjing universities’web-based teaching, for the obstacles which teachers encountered in the web-based teaching, their attitude to the web-based teaching and the support schools given, to study the situation, on the basis of research and give out ideas to improve the countermeasures of the present status of web-based teaching in China.The existing studies mainly focused on the use of different platforms, or students’autonomous learning via the Internet, there is little commence systematic study of the overall situation of the teaching of university teachers web-based teaching. This study has taken Nanjing normal colleges of a case to investigate web-based teaching situation of teachers in colleges and universities. This study selected the research objects of Nanjing ordinary colleges,211Engineering colleges,985colleges’ teachers who have conducted and now also continue to conduct web-based teaching. The author interviewed11teachers which selected out of various colleges in Nanjing, and conducted a questionnaire survey to42teachers as a supplementary study of the interview method. Results show that most of the web-based teaching teachers can recognize the advantages of web-based teaching, they consider web-based teaching can help them to improve their teaching. But some teachers in practical teaching are unwilling or unable to invest much time and energy, thus failing to actively carry out web-based teaching. The enthusiasm of some teachers have not been mobilized, and it leading to the low utilization rate of network teaching platform, and even some teachers think that online teaching is dispensable, and some teachers carried out only in the case of schools require some teachers to carry out a period of time after no longer continue, and some teachers use web-based teaching method only when the class size is too large.The results show that most university teachers in network teaching in Nanjing still stay on the surface stage, it is necessary to further deepen reform, exert the advantage of network teaching needs to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers. School support is premise, especially from the College of management support; University teachers’ understanding of the network teaching and acceptance is the key; Through a variety of ways, university teachers should strive to improve their information literacy especially network teaching ability; The teachers who carry out web-based teaching should also strengthen the exchange of experience between each other, each other to improve the network teaching effect, improve the network teaching quality.
