The issue of old people’s pension in rural areas are graduallygetting both our nation and society’s attention,of which,female livecommonly longer than male.With the development of age, rural areaold female’s health situation are getting worse. Further more, giventhe dependent status of their social economic and lives which havemade them have a disvantaged status.Thus the pension situation ofthe rural area elder female is worthy to pay attention to.From threethe aspects of old female’s individual pension, family pension andsocial pension, choosing two countries in the city of S as researchobjects, this article assumes pragmatism methodology to study thepension situation of the rural area elder female. When discussing thefactors which influence S city’s rural area elder female’pension, thisarticle is based on the analysis and description of the resuSts fromthe questionnaire.With the aging of the rural area elder, there are changes in material,economic and spirit and there is a need for the attentionand help from other families and the society besides themselves.According to FeiXiaotong’s bith system, social sex and Blau’sstructuralism of exchange theories and so on, this article analysizesthe situaiton of rural area elder female themselves, families andsocial pension in the city of S. From the analysis of the factors whichinfluence S city’s rural area elder female’pension, this article paysmore attention to the application of the interview resource andbelieves that the economic, family, social together with individualfactors that influence the rural area elder female’pension situation.Thus from the pension situation of the rural area elder female’in thecity of S, there goes the following countermeasures: First, ourcountry should keep and promote the development of economypositively; Second, suit the measures to Socal conditions andconstruct multi-Sevel social security network; Third, keep the maineffect of family pension: Fourth, increase female old people’s cultureand entertainment activities.This article was rolled out by five chapters: the first chapter is theintroduction which reveals the background and purpose of the study,defines the connotation of pension and its styles and overview therelevant foreign articles about elder female; the second chapterintroduce the main source and the analysis method of the article study; the third chapter gives us a demographic description of Scity’s elder female pension situation; the fouth chapter analysizesthe factors that influence the rural area elder female’pensionsituation and the fifth chapter puts forwards some correspondingcountermeasures and advices according to the exsiting problems inthe rural area elder female’pension situation.
