In the 1980s,sports Dance, an emerging art sports, was officially introduced to China. Andschools were established gradually in Beijing, Guangdong, Shandong, Wuhan, Qinhuangdao andother places. Since 1987, the State Board of Education approved that part of the Sport Collegeand Normal University in Physical Education can offer professional Sports Dance, including inChongqing region, many colleges and universities have gradually added Sports Dance classes inphysical education. Sports Dance attracts so many people by its unique charm, and promotes thefitness campaign effectively. But there are certain issues exist in the training course, such as theprofessional need further improvement.This survey shows the status quo of the Sport Dance training in colleges and universities inShandong and provides an important basis for the better development of Sport Dance in colleges.The main findings of this thesis are as follows:1. Specialized Sport Dance courses are offered in a small quantity. For low-grade, it is just2-4 hours per week and at most eight hours for high-grade. It is difficult to meet the demands ofthe students who want to make progress.2. According to statistics, 95% Sport Dance teachers are from aerobics, gymnastics, orswitch from other professional sport teachers, which will be a certain restriction for thedevelopment of the Sport Dance. The sex ratio of male and female teachers have certaindifference, more than female children, it will have a certain impact on effect of teaching;teachers’ education need to be improved, the ability of scientific research should be enhanced;teachers’ referee level needs to be raised in.3. At present, there is no uniform teaching materials and curricula in colleges anduniversities in Shandong Province Teachers’ teaching content is based on their expertisecombined with the special situation of the students.4. Lack of video, audio and other multimedia equipment and the teaching method is single.There is no fixed classroom in some schools and some even just borrow the basketball court orfind an empty classroom.5. Due to these factors, some good pre-school students who want to continue to study losttheir interest.In order to optimize the professional training of the Sports Dance, this survey proposed feasible countermeasures:1. The optimization of Sport Dance curriculum; According to the sports dance contains thestyle more, the dance style is different, should increase the professional classes, at the same timeto provide students with more extracurricular practice time and place.2. Enhance the faculty building of professional Sports Dance; According to the Shandongprovince university sports dance training status to hire professional teachers for professionalteachers, and scientific and technical achievements and put forward higher requirements.3. Organize the experienced teacher According to the characteristics of teaching in Collegesand universities of Shandong Province to write the teaching material to meet the professionalSport Dance, then make the teaching outline;4. Improve the teaching facilities and enrich teaching methods. Build a bright and spaciousclassroom, multimedia, audio equipment, mirror, wood floor, a full range of modern facilities.The system of class teaching, teach students in accordance with their aptitude as a supplement tothe multiple teaching means.
