The education expert Howard Gardner, who is the famous American psychologist,put forward the multiple intelligence theory in the 1980s, which provided the newtheory support for the reforms of the elementary education in our country.Gardner’s theory is both a breakthrough and an innovation for the traditionalintelligence theories, which is an absolutely innovative system about the essenceand the structure of intelligence. We have harvested a lot on the analysis andthe research of the multiple intelligence theory, including some monographs andessays, which is not only on the theory itself but also make some practical attempts.We absolutely have covered the studies of the politics teaching in junior highschool, mainly about the reflection and thinking about the politics teaching injunior high. However, the clear and accurate analysis on the teaching design ofthe subject, the senior high politics, has never existed by now, let alone thestudy about any compulsory textbook of politics. Consequently, this essay is asupportive addiction for the teaching design of the textbook <economy life>.The essay is on the study of the teaching design of the textbook <economy life>for senior one students, which is supported and directed by the multipleintelligence theory, whose contents mainly consist of the brief introduction ofthe multiple intelligence theory, the directing significance of the theory to theteaching design of the textbook <economy life> and the application research ofthe teaching design for <economy life> directed by the theory.The directing significance of the theory to the teaching design of the textbook<economy life> mainly contains the items as follows. The theory will do good tothe development of the teaching innovation for the teachers. Besides, it will alsobenefit and focus on the students when their teachers design the teaching.The development of the teaching innovation for the teachers in the teachingdesign mainly contains the following points. First in first, the theory can drivethe teachers to concentrate on the development of the students, thus resulting in the improvement of the teaching design efficiency. Besides, it will strengthenthe situational trait and the generative learning. What’s more, it will let theteachers notice the practical effects of the academic activities. The theory canpersuade the teachers pay more attention to the students when they give theirlessons, which means it will maintain the subjective status of the students, willalso stimulate the creative passion and interest in the class which is good forthe comprehensive development of the students and can develop the practicalintelligence as well.The theory can instruct the practical research on the teaching design of thetextbook <economy life>. Before the class is given, it can provide some measuresfor the teaching design as well as in the process of the design. Before the class,we can acquire the composition of the their multiple intelligence so that we candrive them to perform their specific intelligence in the pre-activities in thereal world. The teachers can make the students make the best use of theirintelligence to prepare for the lessons. The application of the theory to theteaching design is mainly on the direction to the different periods of the teachingprocess, including the set of the teaching goals, the choice of the teaching methods,the use of the teaching medium and the whole teaching process.The creative and special point of this essay lies in that the author use theintelligence theory to instruct the study of the teaching design for the seniorone textbook, which can inject the new energy as well as the strong supportivematerial into the teaching design. It will show the teachers new direction whenthey consider the design. This study lays strong basis and provide creativesuggestions for the creation of other political textbooks in senior high, whichwill also stimulate the development of the practices in politics. Under thecircumstances of the elementary reforms, the article will be significant for thetheory and practice development.
