With the development of society, children's education has received more and more attentions from society and parents. How to be capable of adopting the changes and development of society and keeping up with the times is an issue which is worthy of being thought about for every educator. As one of the most important theories which influence China's basic education reform, the multiple intelligence theory injects new vitality to the development of China's education, which has provided new ideas for China's quality-oriented education. Applying the multiple intelligence theory which is a brand new educational idea into the daily teaching activities can increasingly update the teacher's teaching principle, thus the teacher's teaching ways can be more enriched and varied and students' learning methods are provided.Therefore,students can have an overall growth and development.This paper takes the politics class of senior high school, Economic Life as an entry point, applying the multiple intelligence theory into the politics class of senior high school. First of all, by using the research achievements of relevant experts both at home and abroad and combining with the problem which exist in the development of China's basic education reform and the politics class of senior high school, the paper elaborates the research background and research significance. Secondly, this paper discusses the connotation of the multiple intelligence theory and analyzes its specific contents, thus getting the result that it is necessary to apply the multiple intelligence theory into the politics class of senior high school. Then, in combination with the book of politics class of senior high school, Economic Life, this paper selects several classes as the cases to make explanation and applies the multiple intelligence theory into classes, thus specifically analyzing its teaching results. Finally, this paper makes a reflection of theapplication of multiple intelligence theory in the politics class of senior high school and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages.The education should follow the development principle of “people oriented” especially in the politics classes of senior high school. It is necessary to apply the multiple intelligence theory into the politics classes of senior high school and make the boring classes become living and interesting and adopts different teaching methods and teaching strategies in accordance with different teaching contents of each class. The interaction between teachers and students as well as students and students can develop the students' learning interest, thus can change the students' passive learning into automatic learning and improve the students' comprehensive quality and ability in all aspects. Applying the multiple intelligence theory into the politics classes of senior high school and even more disciplines reflects the necessary of China's basic education reform, thus laying a sound foundation for the development of China's education in the future.This paper applies the multiple intelligence theory into the politics classes of senior high school and takes the Economic Life as the entry point,expecting to be helpful for improving the teaching of politics classes in senior high school.
