A Research Report On The Risk Of Outdoor Sports In Liaoyang City

Recently, along with the rapid development of China’s national economy and the people’s living standard, the clamor for closing to nature sounds aloud. More and more people badly desire to go outside on holidays, which form an atmosphere described as "a mass campaign for outdoor sports". As a leisure lifestyle, fresh, healthy and fashionable, outdoor sports embodies that modern people have the aspirations of strengthening their will and going beyond themselves.However, despite amounts of economic interests, people gradually learn that outdoor sports itself has huge risks, resulted from its own features. Thus, a research on the management of outdoor sports plays an important role in securing its development, so as to raise the managers’risk awareness and promote outdoor sport’s sustainable development. Meanwhile, the research can also enrich the theory of outdoor sports’risk.Firstly based on previous studies, this paper starts with the basics of outdoor sport’s risk, including the concept, types and characteristics of the outdoor risks, and then discusses the outdoor sports risk management theory.Secondly, the article describes the basic situation of the outdoor sports industry risk, and the risk of Liaoyang City outdoor sports. On this basis the research program is developed for t the risk of Liaoyang City outdoor sports.Thirdly, the article investigates into the risk of Liaoyang City outdoor sports so as to analyze and assess the city’s outdoor sports risks.Fourthly, the article analyzes the investigation of the risk of Liaoyang City outdoor sports, and then assesses the city’s outdoor sports risks.Finally, according to the Liaoyang City outdoor sports risk the article proposes effective coping strategies and solutions.As this subject is related to kinesiology, tourism, management and other knowledge, this thesis is still limited to apply such theories as risk management, project management etc. Therefore, how to form a set of risk management system of outdoor sports comes out to matter in further research. In addition, as this research is concerned with participants, clubs, other employees, government and other subjects, its complexity determines that the research is of long-term and dynamic nature.
