Nowadays, diverse talents are needed in our society. Only the diverse educationsystem that contains diverse curriculum, teaching method, teaching evaluation systemcan cultivate the inter-disciplinary talents. With the8thcurriculum reform, theschool-based courses are developed, which not only put an end to the monopoly of theNational Curriculum, but also provide opportunities for realizing the dream of diverseeducation. When the school-based courses in the urban schools are developing rapidly,however, the development in rural schools is slow and difficult. The implementationof the school-based courses in the rural schools is so important for improving thequality of population in this great agricultural country like China.After citing and analyzing the development and implementation of the relatedschool-based courses home and abroad, the potential rich curriculum resource in ruralschool-based courses and the problems existing in the implementation of theschool-based courses, this paper tries to summarize the main problems in Ku QuMiddle School by using questionnaires and interviews and further analyzes thereasons for the students’ the learning-weary problem by using Dewey’s InterestTheory. And then this paper concludes that the implementation of the school-basedcourses should follow the approach based on the children’s instinct, life and teachingthat should involve activities inspiring thinking. By using the Economic CulturalTheory, and combining the theory on the implementation of the comprehensivepractical activity curriculum and Emotional Education Theory, this paper concludesthe principles that the implementation of the school-based courses in Ku Qu MiddleSchool should follow, the basis for the selection of the school-based course resourcesshould be Economic Cultural Type Theory; the main style of the implementation ofschool-based course should be comprehensive practical activity courses; the spirit ofthe potential course in Ku Qu Middle School should be the recreation of familyvalues.
