The essay reflects the comprehensive language proficiency for high school students.Therefore, it has always been valued as a key for high school students and teachers. As thedifficulty of language teaching, high school language teachers have been looking for abreakthrough which can enhance the level of student writing.Writing reviews I research, that the guidance and instructions given by teachers, is thekey point is to raise the level of student writing. It can not only play a guiding role in thewriting, but also play a decisive role in language application for student life. It is also anemotional communication bridge between teachers and students.However, in the early years of coaching process, the problem that the essay reviews cannot play effective has plagued the author. The students think it useless and teachers feelsdifficult to write. When I attend graduate school, I find there are few book about high schoolwriting reviews by reading through the relevant literature. In fact, the poor effectiveness ofthe essay reviews is also widespread.In this paper, the author uses the methods of literature,questionnaire surveys and interviews to understand the current status quo of high schoolwriting reviews. There are the problems of high school writing essay and the writingprinciples and countermeasures of solving the problems. It is designed to enhance theeffectiveness of high school teachers of writing reviews.There are four parts of this paper. The first method is questionnaire. The students from theExperimental Middle School of Liaoning Province and Shenyang one hundred and twentiethhigh school are given a questionnaire survey. The data statistics and the results of analysis arefrom the SPSS software. Also inquiries are made for the part of students and teachers of thetwo schools and the information from both teachers and students ensure the authenticity of thesurvey. Followed by a detailed analysis of the problems in high school writing reviews, themain problems are simplistic, modeling, re-examination skills, lighting Humanities andemotional care. Teachers do not understand the physical and mental development features ofstudents. The critical words combat students’ interest and confidence in writing. Again, thispaper raise the writing principles, establish the elements of a good writing review whichshould be specific, detailed, modeling, targeted, t encouraging, and a polite criticism. Finally,for many problems in the current high school essay reviews, from the perspective of teachers,countermeasures is that teachers should change their concepts to pay more attention to writingreviews, focus on the emotional care, give full play to the function of writing reviews, updatethe view to understand the characteristics of high school students in physical and mental, andincrease the effectiveness of reviews.
