With the continuous development of the information society, the demands ofpeople to knowledge and skills become more and more intensity. The occupationaleducation which aims at training the students’ practical ability is confronted with theunprecedented opportunity and challenge. To improve the teachers’ moderneducational ability in occupational education is important for the development of theoccupational education. Training the teachers’ informational teaching capacity inoccupational education is the main way to improve the teachers’ ability of moderneducational technology.This paper studied the current situation of the development in occupationaleducation. And it also analyze the role of teachers of occupational education in thenational minority area by reading literatures, especially by practically investigatingand interviewing with the educational managers, teachers and students of twelveoccupational education schools in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, GansuProvince. After that, the paper pointed out some characteristics and problems of theoccupational education in Linxia area.Finally, combined with the constructivism learning theory and learning resulttheory,the paper devised some training models to improve the teaching technology ofthe occupational education teachers’ skills in the national minority area based on thepreceding analyses to the characteristics of the occupational education in Linxiaarea.We think that these models proposed in this paper are advisable to improving theoccupational education teachers’ capacity to apply the modern teaching skills in thenational minority area.This article consists of five parts:The first chapter introduces the research background, research status, and thispaperstudies the content and methods. According to the local status of vocationaleducation at home and abroad to enhance the technical capacity of the vocational education teachers countermeasures of this research.The second chapter on the definition of educational technology, the concept ofvocational education and vocational education teachers in educational technologycompetency standards identified in this article the main theory. Inspired by theclassification theory of constructivist learning theory research on vocational educationteacher education technology policy guidance and learning outcomes of vocationaleducation teacher education training methods. According to the actual situation ofthese two theories and Linxia Hui AutonomousPrefecture of vocational education,summedup the impact factors of the educational technology applications.ChapterIII in the process of questionnairesand interviews in the localpartoftheschool teachers, students, managers learned that the local front-line teachers, students andadministrators on thestatus of educationaltechnology in vocationaleducation applications and teacher training. According to the present situation andthe lack of vocationaleducation education technology strategies in ethnic minority areas.Chapter constructivism learning theory, learning the results of the classificationtheoryas thetheoreticalbasis, combinedwith a local vocationaleducation school teachertraining, speed up the information construction of the vocational education schools,vocationaleducation teachereducation training to improve the vocationalschoolstudents’informationliteracy,create educationalresourcelibrary for localvocationaleducation characteristics and applications of educational technology tooptimize teaching methods,methods.The fifth chapter summarizes the main results of this study and the inadequaciesof a clear future research directions.
