There is only one life for all people without exception in the world. However, the media frequently cover the news of students’doing in juries to themselves or others, some even claiming lives. Who is to blame for these accidents? As is known, the proportion of entering schools of a higher grade occupies an important place in secondary education evaluation, which definitely has an influence on the management and education of a school. Still, we educate students who have their own interests and character with their own needs, one of which is just learning knowledge. Every student is a totally different individual and the students is an individual life, Education exists because of people’s lives the education should be concerned about the value of life, meaning.So that the greatest significance should be attached to Life education in secondary education.Based on the relevance of the theory of life education, this paper closely combined the theory and Practical issues of life education, and examined the current life education for the young people from the perspective of the education, and proposed improvement measures according to its existing problems, in order to provide a useful reference and promote the life education for the youth.This dissertation consists of six Parts. PartⅠis the introduction to the dissertation, containing why to choose this subject, the meanings and the process of the study. PartⅡis the research of current situation of life education at home and abroad. PartⅢis the discussion of the connotation of life education. Beginning with the essence and characteristics of life as well as the cultural background of life education in our country, it expounds the significance and urgency of life education in terms of society, school education and teenagers. Part IV is a survey of the secondary school students’ knowledge of caring and cherishing life, attitudes towards it and self-protection. Part V comprehensively analyzed the current status Of life education, and summarized the achievement and the problems of life education. Part VI is the aims and measures to implement life education, in the hope that both educators and the educated can gradually improve their own life quality.
