Collaborative learning is the representative of "learning-centered" teaching model,whofocuses on students in collaboration to promote the development of the individual. With therapid development and popularization of information technology, with the rapid developmentand popularization of information technology, Web-based collaborative learning has become aresearch focus, and has been applied a lot in practice. Among them, the web-basedcollaborative learning support system is the core of carrying out the web-based collaborativelearning. Due to the continuous generation of new technologies and new ideas, the design ofweb-based collaborative learning support system urgently needs a new theory to guide.Connectivism is a learning theory produced in the digital age, it realize that learning is aprocess to establish a connection to form a network. Its view is consistent with thecharacteristics of the web-based collaborative learning. In this article, the theory ofconnectivism is applied to the network collaborative learning. In this paper connectivism willbe applied to the network collaborative learning, on this basis, the web-based collaborativelearning support system will be designed.Based on Literature analysis method, system analysis method, design research methodand so, this paper theoretically analyzes the Web-based Collaborative Learning underConnectivism, and the design method of Web-based Collaborative Learning support system isproposed under Connectivism. The paper contain four sections:The first part of the paper include finding problems, and elaborating objective,significance, content, research methods of the research.The second part analyzes the concept and the research base of web-based collaborativelearning and connectivism, and further analyzes their common features and the advantages ofintegrating the two.The third part, In order to form the theoretical framework of the Web-based Collaborative Learning in the Perspective of Connectivism, we theoretically analysisWeb-based Collaborative Learning in the Perspective of Connectivism, including theframework of theoretical analysis, learning procedure, Applicable environment, compositionelements, each links of learning.The fourth part is the design and development of Web-based Collaborative LearningSupport System in the Perspective of Connectivism. In this part, on the basis of the theory ofthe third part, I will design the Web-based Collaborative Learning Support System in thePerspective of Connectivism, and then develop the system. After completion, I will try andanalyze the system. Finally, I will summarize the conclusions of this article, and look forwardto the follow-up study.After a series of studies, this article has achieved some results:(1) Build a theoretical model of Web-based collaborative learning in the perspective ofconnectivism theory, and study various aspects of the model.(2) Based on network collaborative learning theory model under the perspective ofconnectivism. We proposed network collaborative learning support system design methodunder the perspective of connectivism by using UML as a modeling tool and he softwareengineering method.The innovation of this study is introducing the connectivism to web-based collaborativelearning. Moreover, the theory of web-based collaborative learning is enriched to a certainextent.Furthermore, the article propose a design method of web-based collaborative learningsupport system in perspective of connectivism.
