Research On The Construction Of Resource Base Of National Traditional Sports For Schools In Shaanxi Province

China is a multinational country with deep cultures. Traditional sports culture is colorful. National traditional sports in China are splendid national cultures created by the wisdom of Chinese people in the long history of different ethnic groups. Just like other cultures, it is a treasure among Chinese national cultures and the crystallization of the wisdom of all ethnic groups. National traditional sports are a part of Chinese long historic and cultural legacy. For hundreds of years, Chinese ethnic groups, combining their national characteristics, have created various activities with their own special features. They are colorful with a long history, containing not only extraordinary skills and splendid art forms but also deep cultural connotation. It reflects the history, culture, style and value system of each ethnic group while strengthening the body and entertaining the soul. National traditional sports are not only a form of activity, but also a portrayal of a nation. As a medium, it plays an important role in connecting national emotion, strengthening national unity and increasing national cohesion. It shows great national force in cohesion. Meanwhile, it advocates national civilization to the outer world, plays an important role in the communication of world civilization, and contributes to world sports. However, with the rapid development of modern society, western cultures and technology take the place of traditional cultures gradually. Many sport events in different provinces are suffering the threat from modern sport events.This paper takes Shaanxi Province as an example. Through the research methods of investigation, questionnaire, logic and statistics, this paper researches, summarizes and analyzes the situation of national traditional sports in Shaaxi Province. On the basis of consulting the documents of national traditional sports, this paper refers to the related research achievements, uses documentation mainly, combines relevant results, follows certain principles and constructs briefly the resource base of national traditional sports for schools in Shaaxi Province (first draft). After the selection of questionnaire for the first round, this paper forms the questionnaire for the second round after the statistic analysis. The questionnaire seeks experts’suggestions through marking, deletes the unsuitable sport events and forms finally the resource base of national traditional sports for schools in Shaaxi Province (final draft). Finally, this research delivers random questionnaires again to the schools and students, especially the PE teachers, to gain their confirmation.
