In the wave of education reform in the new century, the continuing education of P.E.Teachers is developing prosperously. People are becoming realizing the importance ofthe continuing education of P.E. Teachers in respect of the development of qualityeducation. The traditional sports events schools have ever made great achievements inthe history of Physical education and training the young athletes of China. Therefore,it is quite meaningful to constantly improve the teaching and training abilities ofteachers from these schools.In2008, The Ministry of Education and General Administration of Sport of Chinacarried out "a project of5years", to hold The Training of Teachers of TraditionalSports Events Schools and train about half of the teachers of these schools in5yearssince2008. So far, about2100teachers have been trained in the nationalconcentrating class in Beijing during the past4years. However, it is unknown that thechange of the teachers’ work and how the training knowledge and skills have affectedthe teachers. So, it is worthy of doing a research on the effectiveness of the training,to judge the practicality and to improve the work of the training. And it can also beused as a reference for TSES teachers training and others.The mid-term effectiveness of the national TSES teachers training of2008and2009are chosen as the research object. And through the literature data, questionnaire,interview, case analysis and other research methods, some of the teachers of18provinces and municipalities of eastern and middle part of China have participated thesurvey. The author has clearly acquired the situation of the change of the teachers’teaching and training word and the abundant relative data as well, aiming to havesuccessful experiences of the following training to go by.The main research results are as follows: The general effectiveness are good, but thechange of teachers’ P.E. Level are not satisfying, and the students’ comments arerelatively low.2. The change of teaching concept of teachers of different areas varies.The one of the developed areas are relatively good.3. The progress of the teachinglevel made by teachers of key schools are greater than the one made by commonschools.4. The training effect of teachers of elementary schools, junior high schoolsand senior high schools differs. The one of elementary schools is obviously ideal.5.The situation of the P.E. Teachers scientific research has advanced, and it has closerelate to the results of the teacher training.6. The sports competition results and thenumber of the young sports athletes accepted by higher level schools both have advanced. |
