In recent years, with the deepening of the reform of our country employment, universities employment mode has transferred from "mandatory plans featuring and government-planning assignment" to“market-oriented, government regulation, school recommendation and two-way selection for students and employers”. While in the transformation process of employment mode, relevant supporting policies, laws and regulations are unsound. Besides the quality of graduates are not guaranteed because of ineffective management. As a result, the problem of graduate credibility emerges such as material falsification, exaggerating their abilities, signing agreements with more than one employer, breaching one-sided, job-hopping at will after obtaining a job, etc. Credit is the basic competitiveness in marketplace, the lack of which would not only damage undergraduates’image, but also bring negative effect to the school prestige.This article focuses on the credibility of college students by investigating the current university students’ credit status and related factors through quantitative and qualitative researches. We distinguish five major factors that influence the credibility of college students, ranking from high to low degree as social factors, personal factors, school factors, family factors, and employer factors. Base on the result of investigation, the author proposes a three-level system on college students’ credit, namely: the guidance system including the social credit environmental guide, the school credit environmental guide and family environmental guide; The educational management system including the students self credit education, family strengthened credit educational management and school employment credit education improvement; security system containing perfecting government labor market system, optimizing recruiting process system, exploring new channels to relieve employment pressure by government and universities and strengthening employment competitive training by universities.
