Abstract/Summary:
In the nineteen ninties, national education work conference put forward to deepen theeducational reform, comprehensively promote quality education slogan, points out that theconstruction of teachers of high quality is the comprehensive promotion of quality educationis the fundamental guarantee. The teacher has a high responsibility for educating the nextgeneration, the quality of their work to the student’s growth and development between themajor. While the basic education stage of middle school second--take to cultivate qualifiedcitizens, institutions of higher learning to develop the students burden. Competencytechnology is introduced into the field of education, use it to evaluate teachers, teachers workspecialization and further promote the quality of education is of great significance to theteachers, the school; education, training institutions, management has practical significanceand application value.In this paper, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, onmiddle school teachers’ competency undertook relatively systematic empirical research,including the middle school teachers’ competency assessment system, middle school teachers’competence self-assessment questionnaire, middle school teachers’ competency status surveyand analysis. Middle school teachers’ competency assessment system includes: the teachingorganization and management ability, communication ability, sense of responsibility,initiative, learning ability in all five core quality.And take the cluster sampling method was used to select the Shahe City area the thirdmiddle school of Shahe City, the fourth middle school of Shahe City, the Fifth Middle Schoolof Shahe City, the seventh middle school of Shahe City, Shahe city town ten middle school,Shahe middle school, Shahe City, Liu Shi ferry Township middle school, Shahe City QiVillage II a total of eight junior high school of the548teachers as a subject, to the currentmiddle school teachers of Shahe city competence level and the characteristics of theevaluation. From the result of the questionnaire, the current Shahe city middle school teachersin teaching organization and management capacity of the evaluation score is higher than that of other four capabilities "in line with the basic", in this stage.
