This article on the one hand launches a major investigation at Beijing Sun Village into the status of rescue to meet the needs of inmates’ minor children whose parent(s) are in prison, and finding exciting problem,material needs, psychological counseling needs, character education needs, behavior guidance needs,by the method of participant observation and case interview method.At the same time, the author analyses the reason. On the other hand, by the comprehensive study of articles those carried out different rescue modes for serving orphans or disabled children, including centralized rescue mode and family foster care model, the disadvantages of the centralized rescue mode and the advantage of the family foster care model will be argued. At last, the article concludes that carrying out the rescue of the family foster care model is a better choose to meet the need of inmates’ minor children whose parent(s) are in prison, and it will be a good complementary mode to help inmates’ minor children. Meanwhile, the space of intervention of Social work professional in this mode will be further explored.
