Analysis On The Relations Between Georgia And China Since Cold War

The relations between Georgia and China have a long history. For the first time in the history, old "Silk Road" connected these two far countries. Official relations between Georgia and China established in1991, only after Georgia got independence. From the very beginning these two countries had a very friendly relation, they respect each other’s territorial integrity, they both fight against terrorism, and both Georgia and China are willing to establish democratic and friendly relations, based on the principles of the International law.But the relations between Georgia and China have lots of preventions. China is one of the biggest countries in the whole world, with huge social economic conditions, on the other hand, there is Georgia with a small territory and poor economics. Development of these two countries is not very equal. The distance between Georgia and China also became a problem. Long distance makes very difficult to achieve serious political or economical projects. Although all these preventions, political, economic and cultural relations between Georgia and China are getting more and more deep.The following thesis includes the introduction and4parts, the content as follows:Introduction is the main part of this thesis, in the introduction is described research method and theory of the thesis.The first part of the thesis is political relations between Georgia and China, historical background, China’s role in Georgia-Russian war and meetings of the presidents.The second part of the thesis is economic relations between Georgia and China, historical review of trading relations between these two countries. The second part also includes all the economical agreements which have been signed between Georgia and China.The third part is about safety relations between Georgia and China. It includes short review about relations between Georgia and Shanghai Organization, as well as Central Asia. Also Military relations between Georgia and China.The fourth part includes cultural relations between Georgia and China. Cultural review since the ancient Silk Road till today.The last part is the conclusion of the thesis.
