On the basis ofreading through all the poems of High Tang, this paper will make acomprehensive and strict analysis.Chapter One gives a brief account of the Yue images of poemsand articles written before Tang Dynasty, which helps for the readers tounderstand some origins of Yue images in High Tang poems, and alsomakes it easy to find the relationship between Yue images in High Tangpoems and Yue images in poems and articles written before TangDynasty. Chapter Two investigates the association of Yue poets living inHigh Tang and High Tang poets`journey in Yue; the investigation of Yuepoets association lays emphasis on their association with other poets.The poems written by those who were born and brought up in Yue haveunique value for this paper. Furthermore, the Yue poets themselves willbecome Yue images when they are written in poems by others.The two chapters make preparations for the last two chapters.Every thing is a unity of diversity and identity; therefore, anyclassification just has relative values. The classifications in the last twochapters are based on the comprehensive understanding of theobjects and aim at the convenience and penetration of research. Theauthor counts the number of High Tang poems which have Yue images.The number is541.
