Study On The Image On Basin-like Pond In Tang Dynasty

The images of basin-like pond in Tang Dynasty are composed of various natural elements.The source and combination of the images are closely related to the images of flowers and birds,and mountain and flowers in Tang Dynasty.Through the discussion of the basin-like pond images,we can further understand the way and understanding of Tang people in shaping miniature nature.The research content of this paper is roughly divided into three parts: Firstly,basin images are divided into those of basin-like pond and those of mountain-side pond according to the literature.Starting from the constituent elements of the two,the source and form of the images are analyzed.Among them,the study of basin-like pond images mainly involves the depiction of basins,birds,flowers,plants,rocks and water,and further explores the relationship between basin-like pond images and poetry on basin-like pond;the study of mountain-side pond images mainly focuses on the form analysis of rocks,flowing water,birds and plants.Secondly,based on the analysis of basin-like pond image forms,different types of landscape images are discussed comprehensively,so as to obtain a new understanding of landscape images in Tang Dynasty.Finally,the cultural concepts contained in the images of basin-like pond are explained,including the Tang people’s understanding of natural landscapes,the change of their understanding from natural landscapes to micro image,and the relationship between these understandings and Buddhist thought.
