The Modern Chinese Word Translation Research

These dissertations takes the first parts studies the definition and relevant issues ofparaphrasing words, and draw my point of view based on the different points of viewof the attrition problem of paraphrasing words. At the same time, it summarizes thecurrent study and situation of paraphrasing words.The second part makes a classifiedinvestigation of paraphrasing words. Think free translation word includes，pure freetranslation word， calque translation and some copy the word.The thirdpart explores the developments and changes of them after paraphrasing words haveentered Chinese lexicon system, Analysed the develop track of pure free translationword and the cause of the regression of paraphrasing words,It focuses on the standardproblems of paraphrasing words.The fourth part investigates the paraphrasing words inChinese, Analysed the develop of semantic change to the paraphrasing words,and free morphemes of Chinese. The fifth part emphasizes the influnce of paraphrasingwords on Chinese vocabulary and Chinese cultural cognitive system.I comb and summarize the studying results of predecessors.The dissertationanalyzes and interpretes the classification,definition and chinesizing of paraphrasingwords,especially the definition,on which few researches are made at present.I hopemy study will provide reference for the later relevant studies of paraphrasing words.
