Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of JianPiHeWei Tang and Granisetron (treatm-ent group) on patients with Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV) of sp-leen-qi deficiency pattern and compare it with one control group:Granisetron (control group). The evaluation of the curative effect was conducted at two groups, and the cure rate was obs-erved after the suspension of treatment. Methods:Through the quality of life scale and grade of spleen deficiency symptom quantization table to evaluate patients, and then65patients who were selected were randomly divided into the treatment group (34cases) and the control group (31cases). The control group was taken orally by Granisetron, while the treatment group was taken orally by traditional Chinese med-icine of JianPiHeWei Tang1week prior to chemotherapy, and abased on Granisetron while two groups patients have cisplatin chemotherapy.Observe one chemotherapy cycle. Recording vomiting occurrence frequency and severity, respectively. Especially the occurrence of expl-osive vomiting and intractable vomiting, and patients accompanied by other symptoms.Patie-nts were revisited with follow-up questionnaire after the suspension of treatment and gather relevant data on cure rate.Results:1Both treatment group and control group were proved to be significantly effective on the treatment of CINV. After treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was96.9%, while the total effective rate of control group was93.5%. The curative effect has a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p=0.001, p<0.01).2After one chemotherapy cycle, the total effective rate on Acute vomiting of treatment group and control group was96.9%/93.5%respectively, there was no significant difference (p>0.05). And the total effective rate on Delayed vomiting of treatment group and control group was93.7%/93.5%respectively, there was no statistically significant difference (p>0.05). Though the quality of life scale comparing has significant difference between the two groups. It shows that the improvement in treatment group, the patients life quality have g-ood curat-ive effect.3The two groups of patients before and after treatment of TCD clinical symptoms com-pared, the difference in the group was statistically significant (p<0.05). The results show that the curative effects of the two groups were both improved. The symptoms including weakn-ess, sallow complexion, depression of the two groups have significant difference expect other symptoms. The results show that the improvement of treatment group was better than control group.Conclusion:1JianPiHeWei Tang combined with Western medicine for treatment of CINV has good clinical curative effect.2Peri-chemotherapy application use JianPiHeWei Tang has a positive effect on spleen defi-ciency syndrome after chemotherapy.3JianPiHeWei Tang has a positive effect on the quality of life in patients after chemo-therapy4JianPiHeWei Tang can reduce the side effects of Western medicine, it didn’t show serious adverse reactions during chemotherapy.
