Rhizoma Ligustici Wallichii Oil Soft Capsule To Treat Acute Migraine Episodes (blood Stasis) Instant Analgesic Effect In Clinical Research

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of Chuanxiong Oil Capsule in treating migraine (blood stasis syndrome) and to judge the immediate effect for relieving headache.Method:77patients who has diagnose migraine (blood stasis syndrome) were choosed. According to the principle of a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, all of them were divided into treatment group and control group Treatment group were composed of45patients and cured with Chuanxiong Oil Capsule, and control group were composed of32patients and cured with placebo. Both groups took three capsules in the first time when they are suffering headache. To record and evalute the effect of test drug through analysing the differences of headache NRS scores and headache symptom scores before taking capsules and0.5/2hours after taking capsules separately,2-hours efficacy percentage and recurrence rate in24hours. To record adverse effect at any time.Results:(1)0.5h after taking capsules, there were no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in NRS scores, symptom scores and headache degree between treatment group and control group:There was no statistical difference between treatment group and control group in (P>0.05) efficacy percentage;(2)2h after taking capsules, there were no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in NRS scores, symptom scores and headache degree between treatment group and control group; There were statistically significant difference (P<0.05) in each group after taking capsules2hours later. There was no statistical difference between treatment group and control group in (P>0.05) efficacy percentage;(3) Recurrence rate in24hours comparison through chi-square test, analysing recurrence rate in24hours, there was no statistical difference between treatment group and control group(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)0.5h after taking capsules, compared with placebo group, there was no obvious effect of relieving headache immediately by taking Chuanxiong Oil Capsule, but2h after taking capsules, there was effect of relieving headache immediately by taking Chuanxiong Oil Capsule.(2)Migraine is influenced easily by psychological factors.
