| Migraine is one of the common and mulit-happened neural dieases. The exact aetiology and pathogenesis is poorly understood for the time being. Majority regard it as a nerve-vein headache, Cortical Spreading Depression(CSD)is related in foreboding symptom .It belongs to "toufeng" , " headache " , " piantoufeng " in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).The sorts of western for treating the diease is more and more ,but all exist side effect .Chinese medicine have only a good effect, especially to these incidental symptom .But migraine is acute and curing is difficult , it needs a treatment for a long term . So it is very essential to develop quick effect medicine. This disease is resulted form fengyangshangrao-luomaibuhe and is treated by compound chuanxiong capsule. Follows is the clinical curative effect report of treating Migraine: Methods1. Clinical data: All the patients come from the Hubei Hospital of TCM during Feb.2004 to Dec. 2004.60 cases all together, are divided into two groups stochasticly , 40 cases in treatment group and 20 cases in control group . Two groups have no significant differences in age, sex, the clinical symptomatic and time(P>0. 05).2.Does: Therapy group take compound chuanxiong capsule three times each day and every time for three. Control group take zhengnaoning capsule three times one day and every time for four. Both of them stop taking any other medicines which treat headache or have possible effect on the results.3. observation about curative effect and security Observe both two groups' intensities of headache, durations, frequencies of outbreak , concomitant symptoms , blood rheology, cardiograms and liver kidney function , then compare therapeutic effects between the two groups.4. The Stat. method: We analyze the data , the count materials are examined with X2, the measuring materials are examined with t-test and the grade materials with Ridit.Results 1.The total effective rates of clinical symptoms In therapy group the significant effective rates and cure rates are 47.5% , the total effective rates are 87. 5% and in control group the number are 45. 0% and 80.0% . There is no statistical differences between the two groups with stat. analysis(P>0.05) .2. The total effective rates of TCM symptoms In therapy group the significant effective rates and cure rates are 42.5% , the total effective rates are92. 5% , in control group the number are 45. 0% and 70.0% . There is no statistical differences between the two groups with stat. analysis (P>0. 05) .3. Effective of acesodyne analyse In therapy group the significant effective rates and cure rates are 42.5% ,the total effective rates are85. 0% , in control group the number are 40.0% and 70.0% . There is no statistical differences between two groups with Ridit stat. analysis(P>0. 05) .4. For the duration time of headache and acesodyne time of headache , frequency of headache two groups have no significant differences for dizzy , be vexed discomposure , bitter(P>0.05).5. Change of neural and immaterial symptoms therapy group and control group have no significant differences (P>0. 05). However, for naupathia the change of therapy group is better than that of control group (P<0.05).6. Correcting blood rheology , blood route ,stool route .urine route , EKG , the function of liver and kidney before and after therapy , the are not obvious differences (P>0. 05) .ConclusionsCompound chuanxiong capsule is composed of 10 kinds of TCM , which can inhabit sthenic liver-yang .extinguish wind .promote blood circulation and propel Qi flow. As the total effective rates of clinical symptoms and TCM symptoms and relieving pain are concerned , compound chuanxiong capsule the same as zhengnaoning has obvious effect on migraine .As bad event, bad reaction and laboratory examination before and after therapy is concerned, compound chuanxiong capsule is very safe to body and has no side effect. In an other word , it is safe and dependable that treat migraine from fengyangshangrao-luomaibuhe by Compound chuanxiong capsule ,it could expansion in clinical. |
