According to the research about rational exploitation and utilization of the folk medicine resources, this article studied and discussed the quality evaluation of Gueldenstaedtia delavayi Franch. in PanXi area, which provided technological and theoretical references for the establishment of Herba Gueldenstaedtia quality standard. In order to make better use of new folk medicine resources and study medicinal value of G. delavayi Franch., this article systematically studied G. delavayi Franch. on pharmacognosy mainly from the aspects of morphology and histology, physical and chemical identification, content determination and pharmacology. This article is divided into six chapters:1Documents and literatures are collected, analyzed and summarized. This article made it clear that the origin of the medicinal plant and the research dynamic of Herba Gueldenstaedtia as well as the plants of the same genera, which provided literature support for further experiments.2Morphological and histology are studied. Its main identification characteristics are as follows:The original plant identification is mainly referring to shape and number of leaflet, number and color of flowers, shape of vexil and pods number. The shapes and properties identification are referring to the different taproot shape, section, leaflets and pods number. Roots are mainly identified from the aspects of cork layer’s cell columns and arrangement, cortex fibers, wood fibers and rays’arrangement. Total flower peduncle and rachis can be identified from epidermis cell and types, number and arrangement of cauline bundle. Leaflets can be identified from epidermis cell that go through main vein, palisade tissue, spongy tissue, vascular bundle, stoma and nonglandular hair. The powder identification is referring to the length and number of catheters, fiber bundle and nonglandular hair and type of vessel.3Quality evaluation standard is established.Set up the TLC identification method of G. delavayi Franch.. The result showed that spots of all the medicinal material samples from different producing areas appear the same color in the corresponding place comparing with the control medicinal materials and Beta sitosterol in the same chromatogram.Set up the HPLC qualitative identification method of G. delavayi Franch. The results showed that all the medicinal material samples from different producing areas contain Formononetin and Maackiain.4Moisture content, total ash and acid-insoluble ash are determined. The moisture contents of medicinal materials from different areas are9.66%-10.45%, of which average value is10.10%. Ash contents are5.96%-8.71%, of which average value is7.14%. Acid insoluble ash content are2.19%-3.23%, of which average value is2.69%.5Extract determination method is established. The result showed that the contents of aqueous extract are24.35%-34.46%, of which average value is30.81%.6Effective components are screened, abstracted, separated and assayed.Formononetin and Maackiain are separated from the effective part of extract. HPLC method for determination of Formononetin and Maackiain in Herba Gueldenstaedtia is set up.7Optimal harvest time for G. delavayi Franch. is confirmed.Dynamic change laws of dry matter accumulation and effective components accumulation of G. delavayi Franch are studied. It was discovered that November is the best harvest time for annual G. delavayi Franch.8Effect of G. delavayi Franch. on H1N1virus is studied.Pathological mice model is established by dropping solution contained H1N1virus into mouse’s nose. Results showed that at the dose of10-20g/kg body weight, the mice’s pulmonary pathological lesions were inhibited significantly. Death rate of infected mice was decreased and the pulmonary index was descended remarkably. Average survival time of these mice was prolonged.
