Objective:To discuss the depressant effects of the LiuShen Pills on the nude mouse transplanted esophageal carcinoma tumors, simultaneously to investigate impacts of the pills on the expression of MMP-1and TIMP-1in tumor tissue, explore the inhibitory effect of the LiuShen Pills on the invasion and metastasis of esophageal cancer as well as it’s partial mechanism.Method:Erecting the nude mouse transplanted tumors models from esophageal carcinoma, divided the35nude mouse randomly into ShenXia LiuShen Pills、LiuShen Pills、LiuShen Pills patent medicine、 DDP and model groups, according to the dosage to medicine, and recorded the changes of nude body weight, observed the transplanted tumors growing conditions and drew the tumors growth curve. After21days medicine Executed the mouse,weighted the tumors quality and counted the tumors inhibition rates. As the same time, go sightseeing the infiltration degree on the tissue next to the transplanted tumor cells of carcinoma, furthermore detected the MMP-1and TIMP-1of the transplanted tumors by immunohistochemical method.Results:1.On the extent of the damage to adjacent tissues, the LiuShen Pills patent medicine, LiuShen Pills and the ShenXia LiuShen Pills groups was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05); the extent of the damage to adjacent tissues of the DDP group is less than the control group, the difference was significant (P＜0.05); the ShenXia LiuShen Pill group was less than the LiuShen Pills patent medicine and LiuShen Pills, the difference was significant (P＜0.05).2.On the MMP-1expression of the transplanted tumors, the LiuShen Pills patent medicine, LiuShen Pills and the ShenXia LiuShen Pills groups had significant higher average value compared with the model group (P＜0.05); DDP group had higher average value compared with the model group(P＜0.05); meanwhile, ShenXia LiuShen Pills had higher average value compared with the LiuShen Pills and the LiuShen Pills patent medicine (P＜0.05).3.On the TIMP-1expression of the transplanted tumors, the LiuShen Pills patent medicine, LiuShen Pills and the ShenXia LiuShen Pills groups had significant higher average value compared with the model group (P＜0.05); meanwhile, ShenXia LiuShen Pills had higher average value compared with the LiuShen Pills and the LiuShen Pills patent medicine (P＜0.05). DDP group had lower average value compared with the model group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:1.0n the body weight amelioration, the LiuShen Pill had significant effects,meanwhile, the LiuShen Pills had better influence on the transplanted tumors weight。2、The LiuShen Pills can inhibit tumor cell invasive carcinoma adjacent tissues, one of its mechanisms is regulating the balance between MMP-1and TIMP-1, inhibiting the damage to the ECM from tumor cells.
