Chen Dashun Old Experience In Clinical Prescription Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research

Objective:To research professor Chen Dashun’s prescription experiences by combining clinical and academic, in order to guide the clinical medication, enrich and develop TCM academic.Methods:1.Literature researched:Studied the academic and clinical experience of Prof. Chen based on depth analysising the published books and articles, written records and related researches guided students;2. Statistical studied:based on the collected cases of Professor Chen with the disease classification;3. Clinical practice following Prof. Chen: Based on clinical practice by following Professor Chen and by carefully listening to his explanations.Results:1.Disease analysis characteristics:Advocated the macroscopic theory, focused on the overall review; synthesized the four diagnostic methods, especially emphasized interrogation, good experience of pulse diagnosis; gave priority to traditional Chinese medicine with reference to western medicine and combined macro and micro diagnose; advocated the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, especially emphasized the treatment based on disease differentiation.2. Prescription medicine characteristics:Prescripted according to the principle of "methods based on syndromes, formula based on methods ". Expected at the treatment of diabetes using "Yin-Yang mutual" method; treated traumatic blood disease by using cooling blood and activating blood; treated thyroid diseases by using many methods mainly by supplementing qi and nourishing Yin; treated gynecological diseases by regulating qi and blood; treated chronic diseases in the elderly by tonifying asthenic, resolving phlegm and removing blood stasis; treated pulmonary diseases and head-facial lesions by using "lesions of upper body, lower part of the body treatment"; treated surgical skin disease with dispelling pathogenic wind and so on. The four common kinds of prescription patterns were formula-formed based on the disease and syndromes and symptom, specific disease with specific formula, set formulas innovating new formulas, forming-formula by combination formulas. Expected at ancient prescription treatment nowadays diseases, summarized and used the experience prescription; expected at double-drug; paid attention to drug dosage; multi-purpose decoction; attaches great importance to the doctor’s advice.3.
