Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of the taiyang(太阳穴)-basedtreatment of migraine Needle prick.Material and method:60patients met the diagnostic criteria of the Chineseand Western medicine in patients with migraine were randomly divided intotreatment group (30cases) and control group (30cases): The treatment groupNeedle prick temples and the conventional acupuncture. The main points to takethe taiyang(太阳)(affected side), fengchi(风池)(affected side), shuaigu(率谷)(affected side),the taichong(太冲)(bilateral), baihui(百会). Controlgroup using conventional acupuncture methods. Points of acupoints treatmentgroup.The two groups were treated for two courses, a course of10days. Thenumber of migraine attacks before and after treatment were observed (times/month), the degree of headache, headache duration (hours/times), accompaniedby changes in symptoms, headache integrated points in order to assess theclinical efficacy.Results:1. between the two groups before treatment headache attack frequency, the degreeof headache, headache duration and associated symptoms, the difference wasnot statistically significant (P>0.05). The number of headache treatmentgroup before treatment, degree of headache, headache duration and associatedsymptoms, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The numberof headache control group the degree of headache, headache duration andassociated symptoms, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).2. Two groups before treatment points, the difference was not statisticallysignificant (P>0.05). The two groups after treatment points, the differencewas statistically significant (P <0.05). Treatment group before and afterthe headache integrated integral, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).3.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group the total effective rate was93.33%, while the control group, the total effective rate was83.33%, the twogroups, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), the treatmentgroup than the control group.Conclusion: Needle prick taiyang(太阳穴) bloodletting treatment of migrainecan reduce the number of patients with migraine headache, to relieve headaches,shorten the headache duration and associated symptoms, its efficacy is superiorto conventional acupuncture treatment. The process of conducting the clinicalobservation of migraine patients’ gender, age Bloodletting course of shortduration, effective. Pricking the bloodletting is simple, effective,inexpensive, can significantly improve patients’ symptoms of headache, andimprove the quality of life of patients and reduce the cost of treatment ofpatients, and will avoid the side effects produced by the patients taking themedicine, is worthy of clinical application.
