Myasthenia Gravis (Myasthenia Gravis, MG) is an autoimmunediseases which is the most common in the nerve neuromuscular junction (NMJ)diseases. The first symptom is mostly external ophthalmoplegia, andbilateral lesions are usually asymmetric. According to its clinicalsymptoms can be belong to “paralysis card” and“eyelid waste” oftraditional Chinese medicine category.This disease seriously endangers the patient’s life, work andquality of life, it’s incidence rate of about8～20/100000, illness rateis about50/100000. Western medicine currently uses anti-cholinesterase,Adrenal cortical hormone, immunosuppressive gents, thymectomy, plasma-pheresis, immunoglobulinas as the treatment, but there is still nofundamental cure, All treatment methods can only achieve the inductionand maintenance of the resting stage, preventing the increase of itscontinued to intensify, and the clinical and pathological features affecttreatment effect.Professor Zhang Jingsheng proposed that the Etiology andPathogenesis of Myasthenia gravis is mainly to spleen-kidney deficiencyon the basis of his long-term clinical practice， treating fromspleen-kidney. He established the treatment method with “tonify thespleen and kidney,up raise the middle qi” according with thecharacteristics of Etiology and Pathogenesis in the process of diagnosisand treatment,and used Chinese medicine treatments which reflected "tonify the spleen and kidney, upraise the middle qi " throughout thecourse of disease between the beginning and the end,creating AstragalusCompound，syndrome differentiation and treatment, medicated for symptoms,and received a good clinical efficacy.Purpose：Summarythetheory,methods,efficacyandsafetythatProfessor Zhang Jingsheng treated myasthenia gravis through152cases myastheniagravis of Clinical observation.Material and method：Collect152cases of MG patients diagnosed from2009-2011, there are male53cases and female99cases, age from4to84years, disease course from15days to29years,78cases of I type,30cases of IIa type,and44cases of IIb type among it, take astragaluscompound treatment, treat3months, Observe before and after treatmentclinical relative and absolute ratings, Discuss the mechanism of MG,assessment for safety and efficacy.Results：152patients, which include recovered20cases,basicallyrecovered33cases,61cases markedly, improved in22cases,16casesineffective. Rate was75%,89.5%efficiency, not one cases of adversereaction.Conclusion：1. Tonify the spleen and kidney is an effective treatment method of MG.2. Astragalus compound is an effective prescription that treatment typeI, type IIa, phase IIb of MG.3.Zhang Jing sheng treating152cases of myasthenia gravis,The totaleffective rate was89.5%, and it have obvious efficacy and good safety.
